Building a better working week for Aotearoa.
We exist to make Kiwis work less and get paid more – and to put the productivity AI unlocks back into the people doing the work.
New technology has a habit of being kind to the few and brutal to the many. AI is going to be the biggest swing of that pendulum in our lifetimes. The question for New Zealand is simple: do we let it happen to us, or do we shape it?
Kiwi Dynamics is our answer to that question. We're a small team of engineers, designers and strategists who believe Aotearoa can be a leader in how AI gets used – not just a market it gets sold into.
The goal we organise our work around: a four-day working week today, a three-day working week inside a decade – with no cut to pay, and a noticeable lift in the quality of the time we spend working.
Why we exist
Talking about the future doesn't change it. Building does.
A lot of New Zealand businesses are watching the AI conversation from the sideline, waiting for someone else to figure it out. That's an expensive position to hold. The companies that ship first – even small experiments – learn faster, hire better, and compound advantage that's almost impossible to catch.
We work with ambitious operators across the motu – retailers, healthcare networks, trades, professional services, hospitality – to ship production AI that takes real work off real people. Not pilots that die in a slide deck. Production systems your team uses on Monday morning.
What we believe

The shift to AI is happening with us or without us. We'd rather have hands on the wheel – designing the tools, setting the standards, and shaping how it lands in Aotearoa.
Productivity should pay everyone back.
When software does more of the heavy lifting, the gains have to flow to the people doing the remaining work – not just to the balance sheet. Less time at a desk. Same or better pay. That has to be the deal.

We build for New Zealand businesses first, because we know them and they know us. The patterns we ship here are good enough to travel anywhere.

We measure success in hours given back to people and dollars saved to the business – not the size of a Statement of Work. If we don't think we can move the needle, we'll tell you on the first call.
